UFC fighter rankings: Shevchenko soars to top 3 following Holm win

The UFC rankings took a little longer to update this week, which is why this post is out on Thursday instead of Monday or Tuesday. Whatever the reason for the delay, the new rankings are here following last Saturday’s UFC on FOX 20, and there was plenty of movement in the women’s bantamweight division. Valentina Shevchenko is now only behind Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate in the list of contenders to challenge for Amanda Nunes’ belt. Holly Holm did stay in the top 5 despite another defeat, although Julianna Pena may argue she should be ranked above her.
