Canadians first to try out Copacabana

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 27, 2016 – Canada’s players had the honour of being the first team to try out the Copacabana Beach Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games beach volleyball arena when they trained there on Wednesday.
The North Americans have two teams per gender – Sarah Pavan and Heather Bansley and Jamie-Lyn Broder and Kristina Valjas in the women’s competition and Ben Saxton and Chaim Schalk and Josh Binstock and San Schachter in the men’s.
