So far this year, we have seen three first-time winners, including some upset performances, dominant showings and memorable final rounds. Although the final major of the year is often overlooked compared to the other three, it still has the potential to create some exciting moments thanks to a loaded field and interesting storylines.

It will be tough for fans to recover after one of the top finishes to a major in years just occurred at The Open Championship.

Phil Mickelson shot a 65 on Sunday to finish at 17 under par for the tournament, which would have been good enough to win in most years. However, it was Henrik Stenson who stole the show with a final round of 63, putting him 20 under for the week.
