Justin Williams tied his career high for homers in a season and set a career high for RBIs in a game. Not bad for a day’s work.

Williams, the Rays’ No. 13 prospect, went 3-for-4 with five RBIs Tuesday as he led Double-A Montgomery to a 10-5 win over Pensacola.

The right fielder got off to a fast start, hitting a two-run homer — his seventh of the season — out to right in the second inning.

Williams also drove in runs with base hits in the fourth and seventh.

The 20-year-old outfielder has only been at Double-A since July 17, but seems to be adjusting well. Williams has hits in four of his past six games and has collected 13 RBIs.

Williams wasn’t the only Biscuit to have a good game. No. 69 overall prospect Willy Adames (Rays’ No. 3) drove in three runs and went 2-for-4 with a homer.
