Kurt Coleman, Panthers Reportedly Agree to New Contract: Details, Reaction

After a strong first season with the Carolina Panthers, free safety Kurt Coleman reportedly agreed to a three-year contract extension on Tuesday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport initially reported the news of Coleman’s new deal, which he’s expected to sign on Wednesday. David Newton of ESPN confirmed the report.
Coleman, 28, spent his first four NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted him in the seventh round. He then played one year for the Kansas City Chiefs and recorded a team-high three interceptions before going to the Panthers ahead of last season.
