Bruised left hand temporarily sidelines Lamb

MILWAUKEE — D-backs third baseman Jake Lamb is day-to-day after finally admitting that his bruised left hand is impacting him at the plate.
Lamb, who is hitless in his last 19 at-bats, initially suffered the injury when he was jammed by a pitch during the team’s two-game series with the Blue Jays on July 19-20.
After watching Lamb go 0-for-4 in Monday night’s opener against the Brewers, D-backs manager Chip Hale called Lamb into his office.
