Owusu: Our destiny is in our hands

Medeama coach Prince Yaw Owusu Coach Prince Yaw Owusu believes their destiny is in their hands as they face Tanzania’s Young Africans in a Group A Day 4 fixture on Tuesday, 26 July 2016 in the Ghanaian port city of Sekondi.
Winless after three matches, Medeama sit third on the group standings with a paltry two points, and picking the maximum points against Yanga, whom they held 1-1 in the reverse two weeks ago in Dar es Salaam will serve the tonic for their progress.
Owusu, who took charge of the Ghana FA Cup barely a month ago, has charged his team to “make themselves proud by picking all points against Young Africans”.
The trainer has some experience in the second-tier continental championship with Sudanese side, Ahly Khartoum last year, where he deputized for compatriot and former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah, but believes his side must overcome their indecisiveness in front of goal to stand a chance of making it far in the competition.
