Fabio Fognini: ‘I’m going to Toronto tired but with a great desire to play’

Italian number one Fabio Fognini says that winning Umag title has helped him gain much needed confidence. The 29-year-old who was sidelined for two months earlier in the season due to abdominal injury won his first title this year after beating Andrej Martin on Sunday at the Konzum Croatia Open Umag in straight sets 6-4 6-1.
Next up for the Italian will be this week’s Rogers Cup in Toronto where he looks forward to participating …
