BALTIMORE — The Orioles have had a flair for the dramatic the past two days at Camden Yards.
It wasn’t as pretty as Nolan Reimold’s two-out walk-off homer in the ninth inning Sunday, but the Orioles walked off for the second straight game on a ground ball back to the pitcher in a 3-2 win over the Rockies in 10 innings on Monday night. Adam Jones, off from third on contact, came racing down the line on Manny Machado’s tapper back to the mound. And after Jordan Lyles muffled the catch, catcher Nick Hundley couldn’t handle the throw that allowed Jones to score the winning run.
