NFL investigation Peyton Manning ‘welcomed’ clears him months after retirement

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Though Peyton Manning retired in March, a month after the Denver Broncos’ 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, Manning had consistently said since then that he “welcomed’’ closing out one of the last rather substantial football items from the 2015 season.
The NFL announced on Monday that following a seven-month investigation into allegations made by Al-Jazeera America, there was “no credible evidence’’ Manning was provided with or used HGH or other performance-enhancing substances prohibited by the league.
