Sources: Vikings RT Loadholt planning to retire

Minnesota Vikings right tackle Phil Loadholt is expected to retire pending his meeting with team officials Monday, sources told ESPN.
Sources said Loadholt is leaning toward retirement due to soreness with his surgically repaired Achilles tendon as well as other aches and pains. Loadholt’s injuries have taken a toll on a player who signed a $25 million extension in 2013.
