Gidman joins Kent on a Notts loan deal

Will Gidman, who has been back in action for Nottinghamshire’s Second XI recently having recovered from an ankle injury, has joined Kent on a month’s loan.
Gidman, 31, joins Kent as cover for the injured Fabian Cowdrey and Calum Haggett and will be available for six games – two in the Championship, where Kent still hold promotion hopes, and four in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
