Tigers-White Sox suspended after 8 innings

CHICAGO — A Tigers-White Sox tilt Saturday that began with Chris Sale being sent home for a clubhouse incident and continued through rain delays ended without a result. A third rain delay suspended play after eight innings with a 3-3 score.
Play will resume Sunday at 2:10 p.m. ET, the original time for the series finale. The originally scheduled game will resume shortly after the suspended game reaches a resolution.
The scenario played out much like Thursday’s rain-shortened Tigers win. In Saturday’s case, however, the game was tied thanks to Nick Castellanos’ RBI single in the eighth, bringing Detroit back from what was once a 3-1 deficit.
