Kelly likely joining Red Sox’s bullpen Sunday

BOSTON — Joe Kelly is expected to make his return to the Red Sox as a reliever for Sunday afternoon’s series finale against the Twins.
Right-hander Heath Hembree, who has struggled of late, was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket following Saturday’s 11-9 loss.
The Red Sox didn’t announce the corresponding roster move after the game, but a source confirmed that Kelly will be recalled.
