Castro a late scratch with right hand injury

HOUSTON — The Astros’ catchers are dealing with some minor bumps and bruises.
Evan Gattis returned to the Astros lineup for Saturday’s game against Los Angeles after missing one game with a left hand contusion, while Jason Castro was scratched for the same injury to his right hand.
Gattis missed Friday night’s win over the Angels after being hit by a pitch in the hand Wednesday against the A’s. Gattis went through batting practice Friday before sitting the game out, but “would’ve been able to play,” Astros manager A.J. Hinch said.
