Manchester United Launch 2016-17 Home Kit: Images, Details and Reaction

Manchester United have launched a new two-tone home kit for the 2016/17 season, harking back to the club’s early days as Newton Heath in 1878.

The shirt merges two different shades of red into one, with the left side sporting a lighter tone than the right and a hexagonal honeycomb pattern bringing the two together.

Main sponsor Chevrolet’s logo features in the heart of the shirt, while the trademark three stripes of Adidas run down the sides.

United revealed their new strip via Twitter on Saturday morning:

The kit was officially launched at the Adidas Republic of Sports in Shanghai and is the first strip ever to be revealed by United in China.
