Alex Corretja: ‘There are no essential values like education and respect anymore’

Interviewed by Sport, former tennis player Alex Corretja spoke about his life away from tennis, sharing some interesting and thoughtful points.
‘I think as a society, we have lost many essential values like respect and education,’ he said, opening up about the world seemed to have lost harmony. ‘There is also a lack of communication. We do not speak, we do not understand. Recently I saw much hatred and envy. In the past when I was travelling all over the world with a racket in my hand, it was not like this.
