Roar of the crowd let Holly Holm knew she lost after Miesha Tate choked her out

Holly Holm found out she lost the UFC women’s bantamweight title rather unceremoniously.
Miesha Tate took the belt from Holm with a fifth-round submission at UFC 196. Tate took Holm’s back and locked in a rear-naked choke. Holm tried to fight it off, but was choked unconscious.
All the former champion remembers from the moment, she said Monday on SportsNation, was thinking she could escape and then waking up to the crowd going crazy.
