Melvin Guillard Moving to Bellator Welterweight Division, Wants Fight with Paul Daley

Following two years of struggles on the scale, Melvin Guillard is putting the lightweight division behind him. Guillard on Friday announced his decision to move to the welterweight division after scoring a first-round knockout of David Rickels in the co-main event of Bellator 159. “The Young Assassin” had been scheduled to face Rickels at 155 pounds, but the bout was changed to a catchweight contest when Guillard checked in at 157.9 pounds.
