The United States women’s national team will face Costa Rica in Kansas this Friday hoping they can put the finishing touches on what’s already been a promising run-up to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Head coach Jill Ellis’ side are unbeaten in their last 13 matches and come up against an opponent that’s managed to win just two of its last six fixtures and hasn’t tasted victory in its three previous outings.
