Andre Agassi: ‘Djokovic is in the sky. Federer is magical and unique’

Interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Andre Agassi shared his thoughts on several topics including the changes in tennis, from when he played the sport to now.
The first topic of conversation was about Novak Djokovic’s domination and the American said that Djokovic deserved to be where he’s now. ‘Djokovic is there, he deserves to be the world no. 1. Others are not even closer to him, even Andy Murray despite that he’s just won Wimbledon,’ he stated, before continuing to talk about the subject of Roger Federer’s retirement, ‘Federer is Federer. He is unique. He is magical. He can retire when he wants because he will still be Federer. He can decide without any pressure.’ Agassi then correlated Nick Kyrgios’ repeated admissions of not liking tennis to his own personal conflicts.
