Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Alvaro Morata and Arda Turan

Arsenal could be set to miss out on a couple of high-profile targets from La Liga after the trails to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and Barcelona winger Arda Turan reportedly went cold.
The Gunners’ chances of landing Spain international Morata took a turn for the worse after the player professed his love for Los Blancos when speaking to the club’s official website (h/t Metro’s Sean Kearns).
He said: “I have had two great years at Juventus, I learned a lot and I can only be thankful because without this experience I would not be here. It is incredible to be here again. It is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started.”
Morata was re-signed by Real this summer after the Spaniards triggered the €30 million (£25 million) buyback clause in his Juventus contract two years after he left the capital for Turin.
