India made all the positive moves on the first morning of the series, winning their fifth straight toss, choosing to bat first and unveiling a side with five specialist bowlers. On a flat pitch that was expected to test the batsmen only on the first morning, Virat Kohli had no hesitation facing that session in order to put the runs on the board and try to take 20 wickets.
