World number 3 Roger Federer has announced that he is going to play at the 2017 Hopman Cup, together with rising star Belinda Bencic. That’s a change in his calendar, as he kicked-off the last 3 season playing in Brisbane, with Doha as his favorite destination in the years before that. Now he will take part in the ITF’s official mixed competition in the beautiful Perth Arena, from January 1-7, entering this competition for the 3rd time. Switzerland is going to play the Hopman Cup for the first time in 15 years, and Roger was there in those two last seasons when his country was in the draw.
