Anibal to remain in rotation for another start

DETROIT — Anibal Sanchez’s strong outing Tuesday will earn him at least one more turn through the Tigers’ rotation. The veteran right-hander, who had been sent to the bullpen before injuries forced him back into a starting role, will start for the Tigers on Sunday against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.
Sanchez gets the start in place of Daniel Norris, who will instead make a second Minor League rehab start for Triple-A Toledo on Saturday at Norfolk.
It’ll be Sanchez’s 16th start this season. Tuesday’s outing against the Twins was his second quality start of the year, having taken a 1-0 deficit into the seventh inning before allowing two baserunners that turned into add-on runs when Eduardo Nunez …
