The Brooklyn Nets met with Dion Waiters in Las Vegas earlier this month when free agency began. The talks didn’t amount to much with Waiters being a restricted free agent at the time with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Things changed this week for Waiters when the Thunder rescinded his qualifying offer in hopes of opening up more cap room to extend Russell Westbrook, forfeiting the right to match any offer for the guard. Did things change for the Nets?
