White Sox ‘battle’ to find consistent offense

SEATTLE — It hasn’t been a fun return from the break for the White Sox. They dropped four straight, to put them in a five-game skid extending back before the All-Star Game.
But on Tuesday, they finally got a win in the unofficial second half and scored six runs in the process.
“For us, it’s to not only get the homers, but to add on with a hit late in the game and kind of put it out of reach, so to speak, is more important than just a solo homer here or there,” manger Robin Ventura said.
