The World Series of Fighting’s #1 contender in the bantamweight division, Josh Hill, is slated to rematch current champion Marlon Moraes for his 135 pound crown at WSOF 32 on July 30, 2016. The first time these gentlemen squared off was back at World Series Of Fighting 18 on February 12, 2015. Since their initial bout, Hill has won four straight to put him next in line for a shot at Moraes. Bloody Elbow spoke with Josh Hill about his upcoming rematch, Team Alpha Male, and taking fights outside of his WSOF contract.

Josh Hill reflected on his first bout with Marlon Moraes:
“I think a lot of people kind of had me counted out in that fight. I was a big heavy underdog. I’ll probably be an underdog again in the rematch but it should be a lot closer in the odds. It’s going to be interesting. I think they thought I was just going to go out and try to wrestle with him and that I was kind of one dimensional. I think I kind of shocked them and caught them with a lot of stuff they didn’t really see coming. So this fight I’m sure they’re going to be doing their homework and they’re going to be watching that fight and studying me.
