Cam Newton and teammates crash volleyball league at Baltimore Beach

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and several of his teammates crashed a beach volleyball league the past two days at Baltimore Beach.
Newton is in Baltimore using the Under Armour facility for a three-day, pre-training-camp workout with his wide receivers and tight ends as he has done the past couple of years.
The Panthers report to Wofford College in Spartanburg on July 27.
According to Kevin Lynch of SouthBmore.com, the NFL MVP and 10 of his teammates participated in a few four-on-four games from Baltimore Beach’s Men’s 2A League for about an hour on Monday night.
