Guzman KOs wake for junior featherweight belt

Big puncher Jonathan Guzman scored four knockdowns and eventually knocked out Shingo Wake in the 11th round to win a vacant junior featherweight world title on Wednesday at Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan.
Guzman (22-0, 22 KOs) scored two knockdowns in the second round and one each in the third and fifth rounds before referee Wayne Hedgpeth stopped the one-sided fight at 2 minutes, 16 seconds of the 11th round with the bloodied Wake taking a beating.
