Botti pair sold to Middleham

Talented all-weather performer Grendisar has been purchased in a private deal by owners Middleham Park Racing.
The six-year-old, winner of this year’s Winter Derby and Easter Classic on All-Weather Finals Day, will next be seen in Middleham’s light blue and orange silks after he was acquired from previous owner Mohamed Albousi Alghufli for an undisclosed sum.
Despite the recent sale, Grendisar will remain in training in Newmarket with Marco Botti.
Tim Palin, racing manager for Middleham Park Racing, said: “He is a superstar already and has a cult following. He is an out-and-out all-weather horse.
