Senior British Open 2016: Dates, Tee Times, TV Info, Prize Money

The Senior British Open Championship takes place at the challenging Carnoustie Golf Links course in Scotland on Thursday as past stars battle for the prestigious title on the over-50’s circuit.

A host of major winners and big money golfers will appear at the famous par-72 course, which is considered one of the great challenges in world golf.

A $2,100,000 competition purse will be shared at the event, according to the PGA Tour, as heroes such as Tom Watson, Colin Montgomerie, Bernhard Langer, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Ian Woosnam compete.

Reigning champion Marco Dawson will tee-off with Langer and Jimenez as he attempts to defend his crown in Scotland.
