WADA: ‘Russian Athletes should be banned from the Olympic Games’

After establishing that Russian athletes at the 2014 Sochi Olympics had been doping with the knowledge and support of the Russian governmental officials and administrators, the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) has issued a strong statement of intent.
It has recommended that the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees should have a blanket ban for all Russian athletes participating at the forthcoming Rio Olympics. In addition, WADA also stated, …
