Zimmerman’s rib cage ‘feels good’

WASHINGTON — Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is recovering nicely from a rib cage injury that landed him on the 15-day disabled list before the All-Star break.
Zimmerman was seen doing running drills with Daniel Murphy before Sunday’s game against the Pirates. After that, Zimmerman ran the bases without any apparent problems. The next big test will be swinging a bat.
