Alex Rodriguez stands fourth all-time in home runs (695) and needs five home runs to join Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755), and Babe Ruth (714) as the only members of the 700 HR club. After hitting eight homers in 51 games in the first half of the season, A-Rod needs nine HR to pass Yogi Berra (358) for fifth-most in Yankees history. Babe Ruth leads the all-time list of home runs with 659.
