There were good days and bad days for a number of drivers in Sunday’s New Hampshire 301.
Matt Kenseth His mastery of New Hampshire Motor Speedway continued with his second straight win and third career victory at “The Magic Mile.” Kenseth scored his second win of the season and returned to form after enduring a few down weeks.
Toyota It wasn’t just Kenseth who excelled on Sunday, it was the entire Toyota camp. Joe Gibbs Racing and Furniture Row Racing combined to lead all but two laps in another dominating 2016 performance from the manufacturer.
Tony Stewart His surge since returning from injury continued in New Hampshire with a second-place finish. Since coming back after missing eight races with a back injury, Stewart has won a race and appears firmly entrenched in the Chase picture.
