Joseph O’Brien made the best possible start to life as an official trainer when Justice Frederick won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Gowran Park.
A former dual champion jockey and multiple Classic winner, O’Brien has been overseeing a team of horses at his Piltown yard but until he completed all his training modules they were competing under the name of his father, Aidan.
