Morning Report: Michael Bisping calls Luke Rockhold ‘f**got,’ tells him to get to the ‘back of the f**king line”

Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold don’t appear to be buddying up anytime soon.

This past Saturday, Bisping upset the odds makers and knocked out Luke Rockhold in the first round to become the UFC middleweight champion. Leading up to the fight, the two fighters had several heated exchanges but unlike is often the case in other heated rivalries, no grudging friendships were formed after the bout. In the post-fight press conference, Bisping and Rockhold went right back to the verbal sparring they had been doing the past two weeks with Bisping gloating over knocking Rockhold out and Rockhold calling Bisping a “dick” and vowing to “f**king kill him.”

The outbursts didn’t stop at the presser though. After the press conference was closed another verbal altercation ensued when Rockhold began making his way off stage past Bisping. Bisping stands and says something inaudible to Rockhold while extending his hand for a handshake. This exchange then occurs:

Rockhold: “…give your respect. Don’t be a smug dick about it.”

Bisping: “I did. And I came back to you and -“

Rockhold: “Nah nah nah nah nah.”

Bisping: “You’re a f((king a**hole. Go f**k yourself.”

Rockhold: “It was your moment and you had and you lost it.”

Bisping: “Get knocked out again motherf**ker.”

Rockhold: “I’m gonna get you. I will f**k you up.”

Bisping: “Get knocked out again. Yeah yeah go f**k yourself. Back of the line you f**king c**ksucker.”

Rockhold: “Any f**king time.”

Bisping: “Hey hey hey you shake my f**king hand you pussy. I’ve f**king knocked you out twice now. F**got. Oh sh*t I shouldn’t have said that. Sorry. Delete that comment from the…”

The heated exchange was ultimately ended when Dave Sholler and several other personnel physically separated the two fighters. In the end, Rockhold was ushered off and Bisping made his way back over near the media where he angrily spits out the slur before quickly realizing his use of the offensive term has likely been caught on camera and briefly apologizing.

Much of the back and forth occurred with both men talking over one another, making it difficult to ascertain everything said between the two but it doesn’t appear that anything else patently offensive was said by either man during the scuffle. One thing is for sure though, these two really seem to hate each other and it wouldn’t be surprising to see a rubber match (assuming you don’t count Bisping’s alleged training room victory) in the near future.

The very beginning of the spat can be seen at the tail end of the post-fight press conference video here but the video cuts out abruptly after the camera man refocuses on Bisping and Rockhold. The rest of the skirmish (including Dan Henderson lurking amusingly in the background) can be viewed below courtesy of Arash Markazi.
