Chiefs embracing their youth at cornerback

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Defensive coordinator Bob Sutton raised a good point recently when talking about the lack of experience the Kansas City Chiefs have at cornerback, some very important positions.
“It’s obviously a younger group (but) not really that much different than a year ago minus Sean, obviously,’’ Sutton said.
The absence of Sean Smith is, of course, a glaring one. Smith was the veteran cornerback for the Chiefs last season with more starting experience than the rest of Kansas City’s cornerbacks combined.
