Bumgarner wants a shot at Home Run Derby

Madison Bumgarner’s pleas aren’t exactly falling on deaf ears, but Giants manager Bruce Bochy isn’t about to give into temptation.
After putting on a display in batting practice Sunday at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, the hard-hitting pitcher reiterated to ESPN’s Buster Olney that participating in July’s Home Run Derby is a priority.
