A week after winning the U.S. Elite National Road Championship, Megan Guarnier won the Philadelphia International Cycling Classic after sprinting up the Manayunk Wall.

In taking the win, Guarnier (Boels—Dolmans) solidified her spot atop the UCI Women’s WorldTour rankings.

Guarnier’s Boels—Dolmans team was quiet for most of the 118km race, allowing rival teams Wiggle High5, Tibco—Silicon Valley Bank, and Twenty16-Ridebiker to put riders into various breakaways.
