Algiers, Algeria, June 5, 2016 – Angela Leyva proved again to be a strong weapon of Peru after defeating hosts Algeria 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-12). This was third victory for Peru on the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix first weekend.
Algeria records its third loss on the 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix, while Peru finishes the weekend with three wins. In their first-ever encounter in World Grand Prix, Peru showed its strength over the hosting team, winning in straight sets.
