BCB president announces selection process revamp

BCB president Nazmul Hassan has said that the job of selecting Bangladesh’s representative teams will henceforth be divided between a three-member selection panel and a selection committee. The panel will select a squad and take it to the committee for further discussion, before the final outcome is submitted for the president’s approval. This would now make selection of any representative team a three-step process.
Hassan said that the coach, the manager and the chairman of the cricket operations committee would be included in the proposed selection committee.
