Rockhold admits he ‘underestimated’ Bisping: ‘I just didn’t see him having anything for me’

Luke Rockhold was unsuccessful in his first middleweight title defense, losing to Michael Bisping in the main event of UFC 199 on Saturday night. Rockhold suffered a devastating first-round knockout defeat to Bisping, a short notice replacement and massive underdog leading the matchup.
During fight week at the pre-fight press conference, Rockhold revealed he tore his MCL in his UFC 199 training camp. However, in his backstage post-fight interview on Saturday, he did not blame the knee injury for the loss. Instead, he says he simply underestimated Bisping’s skill-set.
