Manchester United have finally got the man to replace Sir Alex Ferguson in Jose Mourinho, according to Ricardo Carvalho.
Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor in May and Sky sources understand Sweden forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will become his first signing since taking charge at United.
United are also in talks with Villarreal over a deal for Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly, according to Sky sources, with Mourinho keen to shape his squad quickly ahead of pre-season.
Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea last December after overseeing the Blues’ worst start to a Premier League season, just months after leading them to the title.
