Round 1: The referee in charge is John McCarthy. Lamas is orthodox while Holloway is southpaw. Holloway doing the stalking early, but so far mindful of range. Uppercut-right hand by Holloway partially lands. Lamas coming forward a bit more and misses on a punch, but lands a nice outside leg kick. Lamas gets tagged with a four-punch combo that scores to the head and body and Lamas is clearly hurt. He recovers, but can’t get the takedown when he shoots.
