Sinclair: Pep has edge over Jose

Trevor Sinclair is looking forward to witnessing the “battle of Manchester” next season when Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho resume hostilities.
Former Manchester City striker Sinclair believes City stole a march on their neighbours from Old Trafford by agreeing terms with Guardiola a handful of months before United signed up Mourinho.
And he feels City have acquired the better manager, saying: “If you got a bit of honesty from people and they had their choice of manager, I think Pep would have been top of the list.
“They’ve jumped the gun on Manchester United to get the main man there, and they’ve reacted by getting Jose and we’ll see how that pans out but all eyes are going to be on Pep.
