Prostejov in the Czech Republic has always had a strong field of players, and 2016 is certainly not an exemption, with a lot of them coming from Top 100 after an early exit at Roland Garros. Nevertheless, one player outside the Top 200 has made his name here, and that being Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, who reached his 5th Challenger final, the first in almost 2 years. Marton played a rock solid match against 4th seed Inigo Cervantes, dismantling the Spaniard 6-2 6-2 in just 69 minutes! In what probably was the best match he played in the recent times, Fucsovics has controlled the result from start to finish, losing just 3 points on his first serve and not getting broken in the entire match. On the other hand, Cervantes struggled to find the right rhythm, and he was pushed to the limits every time he would miss the first serve, winning just 6 from 24 on the second. Fucsovics had a perfect start with a break of serve in the first game and that set the tone for the rest of the opening set. He lost just 5 points in his service games and sealed the set with another easy break in game 7, finishing it on own serve in the next game.
