It’s finally here. Fight day. UFC 199. So much has been made of UFC 200, that this event has been coasting well below a fever pitch, despite the fact that it’s a great card. Yeah, we lost Weidman from the festivities, but we gained something important, Michael Bisping’s first title shot. At 37-years-of-age and after more than a decade in the UFC, the day has finally arrived.
Another title is also on the line, the rubber match between Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz. Faber also clocks in at 37, and has a metric ton of experience coming with it. There are great prospect vs. prospect bouts, as well. Tom Breese vs. Sean Strickland is a welterweight fight should position the winner for the beginning of a title climb. Seriously, if you really look at this card, it’s a winner.
