Sale, Strasburg try for win No. 10 on MLB.TV

A pair of aces will try to become the first 10-game winners in baseball this season as Chris Sale and Stephen Strasburg toe the rubber for the White Sox and Nationals today.

Sale and Strasburg’s starts — against Detroit and Cincinnati, respectively — are just two of the highlights from the day’s 15-game MLB.TV slate. Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw will also take the mound against the Braves in Los Angeles, while resurgent A’s veteran Rich Hill looks to extend his winning streak at Houston.

Perfect 10: WSH@CIN, 4:10 p.m. Strasburg will try to extend his unblemished record today when his Nationals take on Dan Straily and the Reds at Great American Ball Park. The Nationals have won each of Strasburg’s last 15 starts, dating back to Sept. 15 of last season. The right-hander tossed six solid innings his last time out vs. the Cardinals, allowing just one run.

“He has the stuff to be a big winner,” Nationals manager Dusty Baker said. “Success breeds confidence. I’m sure this guy is at an all-time high in confidence and concentration.”
